According to Mainichi, one-year hiatus of Ookiku Furikabutte manga was announced in Afternoon magazine February issue. Higuchi Asa will take a rest to improve her health and will resume serialization around November 2011.
Higuchi apologized for the long hiatus and, comparing it to the end of the baseball season, said that the manga will resume its serialization around November. New compiled book volumes of the manga will follow thereafter.

Nishihiro, he looks devastated. I felt sad when he swung and missed his last at-bat. I hope he’ll have more screentime in the future, either in the manga or anime.
I didn’t expect to be crying at the end even though the Summer tournament result’s were obvious from the time Nishiura gave up runs. Nishiura is a strong team, not physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.
The next episode is the LAST episode. I hope they’ll make a next season, I’ll be waiting for it no matter how long it takes. It is worth the wait anyway. :)

I remember posting a certain chapter from Oofuri where Abe was injured. Natsu no Taikai-hen releases its 10th episode showing this scene. Mixed feelings. I was like smiling like an average yaoi fangirl but at the same time, I can’t stop getting teary eyed while watching Abe and Mihashi. There’s a drama in between Abe’s silence and Mihashi’s worries. I can’t wait for the next episode!
[Oh, sorry for not continuing the earlier episodics, got tired of it. LOL. I’m a lazy person, sorry.]
