Yusa Kouji

Seiyuu details:

Kōji Yusa (born August 12, 1968) is a Japanese voice actor born in Osaka Prefecture and raised in Kyoto Prefecture. He owns a male long-haired Chihuahua named Ginga. He is married to fellow seiyū Kanako Mitsuhashi(Seiyuu for Killua of Hunter X Hunter and Suzuka of Suzuka). His blood type is B, his height is 173 centimeters (5′ 9″), and his weight is 53 kilograms (116 pounds).

Popular Anime Roles:

  • Ichimaru Gin of Bleach
  • Tojo Ayumu of Gintama
  • Lau of Kuroshitsuji
  • Watanabe Osamu of Prince of Tennis
  • Shadow the Hedgehog of Sonic X
  • Ogata Aoi of Special A
  • (upcoming) Mizushima Iku of Starry Sky

If you hear the name Yusa Kouji as an average anime fan, the characters that may pop into your mind may only be of three names: Lau, Gin and Ayumu. Three characters with one similarity: closed eyes.

Yusa Kouji is in fact one of the best seiyuu’s that I’ve encountered when it comes to drama CD’s. But before advancing my text, I would like you to know that this is beyond your average anime genre, the yaoi section.

I’ll throw the line that I’ve been saving since I posted this:

Whoever does not take notice of his roles(and being a fujoshi yourself) is a shame. Let me name some of the drama’s where he has voiced in. (not in alphabetical order)

  • Exclusive Love Contract
  • Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume wo Miru
  • Sojou no Koi wa Nido Haneru
  • Chintsubu
  • Koisuru Unmei na no Dakara
  • Bukiyou na Silent
  • Versailles no Bara
  • Ai to Yokubou wa Gakuen de
  • Kimi ga Koi ni Oboreru
  • Shinkuu Yuutsetsu
  • Oteuchi Kakugo
  • Yume Musubi, Koi Musubi
  • Egoist no Junai
  • Seitou Kaichou ni Chuukoku
  • Sono Kuchibiru ni Yoru no Tsuyu

Yusa is one of the most hottest seiyuu’s in BL dramas when it comes to hot deeds. It makes you drool and want him. (This is just my pervy side speaking, I apologize.)He is also guilty for making some of my nights sleepless. I’m also willing to see more seme roles for him.

Will add more roles and information in the future!
